Founded in 2023, Outcast Beards is a North Carolina-based company specializing in premium facial hair care products and apparel. Our passion is to elevate your beard, mustache, goatee, or any facial hair style you have or don’t, offering the best all-natural products for you and your family. As we do this, we're building a community of Outcasts, united by a love for top-quality grooming.
Our Journey.
The inception of this incredible journey traces back two decades, when I first ventured into the realm of facial hair. Back then, the idea of starting a company was far from my mind. I was preoccupied with my passion for music, art, cinema, and revelry. How I wish I had more photographs from that era! However, in all honesty, selfies and group photos held nowhere near the significance they do today, twenty years ago.
I would love to recount a narrative filled with jubilation and unforgettable moments that paved the way for Outcast Beards. Regrettably, during my youth, I often found myself at the receiving end of bullying, both within and outside the confines of school. I perpetually felt like an outsider looking in. It wasn't until later in life, when I decided to cultivate my beard, that a transformation occurred. It became my shield, a mask that nurtured my self-assurance and ultimately liberated me from my self-imposed seclusion. The term 'Outcast' deeply resonates with me, as it encapsulates how I felt for the longest time.
As time progressed, so did my beard. It evolved beyond mere facial hair; it became an integral part of my identity. People started recognizing me as 'Bearded Mike' or 'That Guy with the Beard.' I was a proud member of the bearded fraternity long before it became a popular trend.
Our Beginning.
Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, I rediscovered my passion for sketching—a lifelong love. In the midst of 2022, a new venture was conceived, one that would eventually become Outcast Beards. It all began with the inception of the Outcast Beards concept and the creation of our very first logo prototype.
As I delved deeper into this project, I began crafting my own beard oil, and to my delight, it proved to be just as good, if not better, than the products already available in the market. Encouraged by the positive feedback from friends who had tried it, I decided to take the plunge and bring it to a wider audience. And so, in February 2023, Outcast Beards, LLC was officially born!

Currently, we are diligently working on a product line designed for the 'Ladies of Outcast Beards.' That's right; we're making this a family affair, a one-stop destination for both men and women to discover the finest hair and skincare products around (anticipated in 2024).
